Clients Page - Travel Settings

Note:

Only Administrator level BullRush accounts can edit Client Travel Settings. Team Member accounts can view Billing information but are unable to adjust the settings.

 

Travel In BullRush:

In BullRush, the travel you do between Locations is automatically recognised and processed into Travel Time Tracking Items. Background GPS Tracking uses motion and location changes to determine whether you have left a Location and are moving to another one.

 

Client Travel Settings:

The Travel Settings section of the Client Page allows you to determine whether you will charge the Client for Travel. The Travel Settings section of the Client Page is located immediately below the Billing Settings at the bottom of the Client Page.

Travel Settings is comprised of four different settings fields; Charge for Travel, Charge Travel By, Rate Per Hour and Rate Per Mile. These will be explained in detail below.

 

Charge for Travel Toggle:

The Charge for Travel Toggledetermines whether you want Travel Time Tracking Items for that  Client processed for invoicing. While this is disabled you will not be able to organise and process Travel Time Tracking Items associated with the Client for invoicing.

The other Travel Settings below the Charge for Travel Toggle will also be disabled.

By default the toggle will be ON (toggle button being positioned to the right and colored purple).

Charge for Travel is enabled or ON when the toggle button is positioned to the left and colored white.

To adjust the toggle button and turn Charge for Travel ON and OFF, simply tap or swipe the button.

 

Charge Travel By:

Charge Travel By setting is determines if you will charge Clients on a "Distance" or "Hour" (Time) based rate.

The Charge Travel By setting has a direct impact on the Rate Per Hour and Rate Per Mile/Kilometre settings in the Billing Settings section, as it determines which of the settings will be enabled.

To adjust the Charge Travel By setting simply tap on "Distance" (on the left) or "Hours" (on the right).

 

Rate Per Hour:

If you have set the Charge Travel By toggle to "Hours", the Rate Per Hour value is what will be used for invoicing the Client.

To adjust the Rate Per Hour, tap on the text field and enter a value.

When you have finished, tap anywhere outside of the keyboard (for iOS)or use the "Done"/"Next" buttons (for Android).

 

Rate Per Mile/Kilometre:

If you have set the Charge Travel By Toggle to "Distance," the Rate Per Mile/Kilometre value is what will be used for invoicing the Client.

To adjust the Rate Per Mile/Kilometre, tap on the text field to enter a value.

When you have entered a value, tap anywhere outside of the keyboard (for iOS) or use the "Done" and "Next" buttons (for Android).
