My Settings Page - Phone Call Settings (Android Only)

In both iOS and Android versions of BullRush it is possible to process calls you make on your phone into Time Items.

However, the way that phone calls are processed on iOS and Android versions of BullRush is quite different.

Apple does not allow access to Call Logs so phone calls made on iOS devices cannot be processed through the app.

Instead, you can retrieve call logs from iOS devices using the BullRush Desktop Client.

Call Item Processing on Android (Brief):

On Android devices, Phone call processing and Call Item creation is done within the BullRush Mobile Application. Phone calls can be synced directly from the Call Logs on your phone into BullRush and can be  the "Call History" page.

From the Call History Page you can convert all the phone calls into Call Time Items and they will be processed for invoicing.

The Phone Call Settings on the My Settings Page define the parameters for phone call processing in BullRush.

Phone Call Settings:

The Phone Call Settings section of the My Settings Page features four different settings which can be used to define how BullRush processes phone calls. These settings are the "Charge for Phone Calls" Toggle, "Ignore All Phone Calls" Toggle, "Ignore Unknown Numbers" Toggle and "Ignore Calls Less Than" menu. Each of these settings are explained below.

Charge for Phone Calls Toggle:

The Charge for Phone Calls Toggle defines whether Call Time Items are processed for invoicing.

By default the toggle will be OFF which is represented by the toggle button being positioned to the left and colored white.

Charge for Phone Calls is enabled or ON when the toggle button is positioned to the right and colored purple.

To adjust the toggle button and turn Charge for Travel ON and OFF, simply tap or swipe the button.

Ignore All Phone Calls Toggle:

The Ignore All Phone Calls Toggle prevents BullRush from importing the Call Logs from your phone to make into Time Items. This setting disables Call Management within BullRush and is used when you do not want BullRush to import any calls or when you do not want BullRush to import calls for a certain period of time.

By default the toggle will be OFF which is represented by the toggle button being positioned to the left and colored white.

Ignore All Phone Calls is enabled or ON when the toggle button is positioned to the right and colored purple.

To adjust the toggle button and turn Charge for Travel ON and OFF, simply tap or swipe the button.

Ignore Unknown Numbers Toggle:

The Ignore Unknown Numbers Toggle prevents BullRush from importing information from  phone numbers that are either not saved to a Client Contact or not saved as a contact in your phone.

BullRush automatically recognises and assigns Saved Client Contact and Phone Contact names to Call Time Items. You can save a phone number to a Client by navigating to their saved profile page and adding the phone number as a Client Contact. For more information on adding phone numbers to Client Contacts, please refer to the Client Page section of the Using BullRush category in the BullRush Help Center.

By default the toggle will be OFF (toggle button is positioned to the left and colored white).

Ignore Unknown Numbers is enabled or ON when the toggle button is positioned to the right and colored purple.

To adjust the toggle button and turn Charge for Travel ON and OFF, simply tap or swipe the button.

Ignore Calls Less Than Menu:

The Ignore Calls Less Than Menu allows you to set a minimum threshold for BullRush to begin tracking phone calls.

Enabling this setting tells BullRush not to import phone calls that are shorter than the set time into the Call History Page. This ensures that brief phone calls will not become Time Items.

To set the Ignore Calls Less Than, tap on the menu field to open and a dialog box will appear. There are four options to choose from;

"1 Minute," "2 Minutes," "3 Minutes" and "5 Minutes."

Tap on your preferred time and the threshold is set.
