In order to be able to process a Time Item on the Pending Items Page for invoicing you will need to have logged into and synced your accounting software with BullRush.
Currently the only accounting software supported by BullRush is Xero. For information on how to sync your BullRush account with Xero, please refer to the Help Center article linked below:
This article follows directly on from the Syncing BullRush with Xero Article and will explain the process for sending a Time Item through to your Xero account for the purposes of invoicing it to a Client.
Filtering the Pending Items List:
The Pending Items Page will display a list of the Time Items that have been completed by members of your Organisation.
The Pending Items List is ordered based on Client Names, each Client will be listed alphabetically along with all of the Time Items that have been assigned to them within the time period you have set in the Month Filter.
The Time Items that are displayed in the Pending Items list can be filtered using the Client and Month Filters at the top of the page.
These are pictured below, the Client Filter is on the left and the Month Filter is on the right.
Selecting a Client from the Client Filter list will display only Time Items assigned to that Client in the Pending Items List. If you have selected a specific Month in the Month Filter, then the Pending Items list will only display Time Items that were recorded within that Month with the Client you selected in the Client Filter.
This allows you to easily select specific Time Items associated with the Client or all of the Time Items associated with the Client and then send them to your accounting software for invoicing.
Selecting a Month from the Month Filter list will display only Time Items that were created in that Month in the Pending Items List. If you have selected a specific Client in the Client Filter, then the Pending Items list will only display Time Items that were assigned to that Client within the Month you selected in the Month Filter.
Selecting Pending Items to send to your accounting software for invoice processing:
The Select and Select All Checkboxes that run down the left side of the Pending Items List are used to signal which Time Items you wish to send to your accounting software for invoice processing.
The Select All Checkbox will select every Time Item that is currently displayed in the Pending Items List.
If you have filtered the Pending Items List using the Client or Month Filters, then the Select All Checkbox will only select the Time Items that fit within the parameters of your filters.
If you have not filtered that Pending Items List at all, the Select All Checkbox will select every Time Item that has been recorded within your Organisation which has not already been sent to your accounting software for invoicing processing.
A Select Checkbox accompanies every Time Item in the Pending Items List and is used to mark that specific Time Item for invoice processing.
You can select as many Time Items as you like to mark for invoice processing, this includes selecting Time Items from different Clients and from different months. This is only possible when you have not selected specific Clients or Months to filter the Pending Items List.
Sending Time Items to your accounting software:
Once you have selected the Time Items from the Pending Items list which you wish to send to your accounting software, you have two options for processing the Time Items:
- Click the Send All Selected Button at the top of the Pending Items List
- Click the Send Button adjacent to a particular Clients name in the Pending Items List
Clicking the Send All Selected Button will send every Time Item that you have selected, using either the Select All or Select Checkboxes, to your accounting software for invoice processing. This is not restricted on a Client basis, so if you have selected multiple different Time Items from different Clients, then they will be sent through to your accounting software.

Clicking one of the Send Buttons, that are located adjacent to the name of each Client in the Pending Items List, will only send the Time Items that you have selected for that Client to your accounting software.

Invoicing sent Time Items to Clients:
Once you have sent Time Items to your accounting software, you must log into your accounting software in a separate tab to organise invoicing those Time Items to the Client(s).
The process for invoicing Clients differs across accounting software platforms If you are unsure how to send an invoice using your chosen accounting software, you will need to consult the respective Support Page or Help Center for your chosen accounting software.
Reviewing processed Invoices within BullRush:
It is possible to review the Invoices that your Organisation has processed within BullRush using the Invoices Page on the Desktop Client.
