My Account Page - My Settings Tab - Phone Call Settings

Billing for phone calls in BullRush:

In both iOS and Android versions of BullRush it is possible to process calls you make on your phone into Time Items.

However, the way that phone calls are processed on iOS and Android versions of BullRush is quite different.

On Android devices, BullRush can import your phones call logs in order to retrieve the relevant call information.

For the purposes of processing phone calls into Time Items, BullRush only utilises the Phone Number, Contact Name, time and length of the phone calls.

Apple does not allow access to Call Logs so phone calls made on iOS devices cannot be processed through the Mobile Application.

Instead, you can retrieve call logs from iOS devices using the Call Logs page of the BullRush Desktop Client. This process is explained in the Call Logs Page - Importing Phone Calls Article.

Phone Call Settings:

The Phone Call Settings section of the My Settings Tab is comprised of three settings; Charge for Phone Calls, Ignore All Phone Calls and Ignore Calls Less Than.

Charge for Phone Calls:

The Charge for Phone Calls setting determines whether or not you want Call Items to be available on the Pending Items page for invoice processing.

If it is enabled Phone Call Items will be able to be sent through to your Accounting Software account for the purposes of invoicing the relevant Client for the Phone Call.

To enable or disable the Charge for Phone Calls setting, simply click on the checkbox.

Remember to click on the Save button that appears at the top of the My Settings tab to save your changes.

Ignore All Phone Calls:

The Ignore All Phone Calls determines whether or not phone calls will be synced from your phones call logs and be available to be processed into Time Items.

If Ignore All Phone Calls is enabled BullRush will not be able to sync your call logs. If it is disabled, BullRush will sync your phone call logs and display them on the Call History page. This page is only accessible on the Android version of BullRush.

Pressing the "+" Process Calls button on the Call History page will generate Call Items using the phone calls displayed on the Call History page.

Some phone calls may not be processed into Time Items because they have a shorter duration than the time which you have set for the "Ignore Calls Less Than" setting. Ignore Calls Less Than is the final setting in the Phone Call Settings section and is explained in detail below.

For information on Call Items and how to process a phone call into a Time Item, please refer to the Help Center sections and articles linked below:

To enable or disable the Ignore All Phone Calls setting, simply click on the checkbox.

Remember to click on the Save button that appears at the top of the My Settings tab to save your changes.

Ignore Calls Less Than:

The Ignore Calls Less Than setting determines the minimum length that a phone call can be for it to be processed into a Time Item.

For example, if the Ignore Calls Less Than setting is set to "2 Minutes," all the phone calls that have a duration of 2 minutes or longer will processed into Time Items when you press the Process Calls button on the Call History Page. Any phone calls shorter than 2 minutes will not be processed into Time Items.

Processing phone calls into Time Items can only be done in the BullRush Mobile Application and is currently only available on the Android version of the Mobile Application.
